Employment Type: Full-Time
About the RoleA major technology-driven financial institution in New York is making a significant investment in applied AI across the organization. Rather than adding superficial AI features to existing workflows, the firm is building custom AI agents, autonomous systems, and internal tooling that fundamentally transform how teams operate.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building AI systems that are actively used in production. You will work directly with teams across the organization — including trading, analytics, operations, legal, and compliance — to identify inefficiencies and design AI-powered solutions that address real business problems.
The firm has already invested in infrastructure, data, and technical talent. The focus of this role is to bridge the gap between current AI capabilities and practical business applications, and to deliver solutions end-to-end.
Unlike many AI roles, all projects are greenfield. There are no legacy systems to maintain — you will build from scratch, with the autonomy to select the most appropriate tools and approaches.
