What You Bring

• You have at least 3 years of experience in developing generative AI and machine learning applications, ideally in the areas of recommender and ranking systems
• You are proficient in Python and confidently use common ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
• You have experience working with relational databases (particularly SQL) as well as other database and storage technologies (Elasticsearch, Redis)
• You approach complex questions analytically using statistics and machine learning to find suitable solutions
• You enjoy advancing machine learning and AI services from conception to implementation using software engineering skills and modern cloud technologies
• German (at least B1 level) and English (at least C1 level) skills are mandatory and complete your profile

Your Responsibilities Include

• You take responsibility for developing machine learning and AI applications in the Explorer product
• You apply cutting-edge ML methods, particularly in the area of recommender systems
• You implement professional data pipelines and MLOps workflows
• You continuously maintain and optimize existing machine learning systems
• You ensure the interpretability and explainability of the models you develop
• To improve our products, you analyze customer journey data (including search, booking, and usage data)
• To develop customer-oriented solutions, you work closely with colleagues from software development, product management, and executive management
